AISA GLOBAL ISSUES SERVICE SUMMIT 2025

We are incredibly excited to announce that the 2025 AISA Global Issues Service Summit (AISA GISS) will be hosted in the Pearl of Africa, Kampala, Uganda! This prestigious event will take place at the International School of Uganda (ISU). Every year, the Association of International Schools in Africa (AISA) organizes this summit to engage students in learning about both local and global issues while promoting sustainable solutions and inclusive action.

This is not just a conference – it’s an immersive experience designed to inspire and empower young leaders across the continent to make meaningful changes in their communities. The summit offers a transformative opportunity for students to embark on a journey of self-discovery, leadership development, and personal growth. It’s an event that not only shapes their lives but also enables them to create a lasting impact on the world.

The theme for the 2025 summit is “Kola Kati”, which means "Act Now" in one of the native languages of Uganda, Luganda. This theme embodies the spirit of urgency and action that drives the global movement towards the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). With climate change, inequality, and global health challenges looming larger than ever, now is the time for youth to step forward and contribute to positive change. At AISA GISS, you’ll have the chance to: Engage with inspirational keynote speakers who are shaping the future, participate in hands-on workshops that tackle real-world challenges, connect with like-minded students from across Africa and beyond, creating a network of changemakers and showcase your school’s community service efforts and share innovative ideas with a wider audience.
