SERVICE DAY
Our service day projects were developed through thoughtful collaboration with both new and established community partners to ensure meaningful engagement for all involved. Rather than approaching service as one-sided volunteerism, we focused on reciprocal partnerships that align with our partners' missions while providing valuable learning experiences for students.

To design impactful and sustainable activities for Service Day, we engaged our community partners through surveys, calls, and in-person meetings. We asked key questions to ensure our collaboration was thoughtful and effective:

-
Organizational Goals & Priorities – How can we align with your mission?
-
Student Contribution – What hands-on activities can students participate in?
-
Learning & Reflection – How can students better understand the challenges and context of your work?
-
Materials & Logistics – What supplies, transportation, or costs need to be considered?
-
Location & Capacity – How many students can you accommodate, and where will the service take place?

The student executive and planning team were deeply committed to aligning these engagements with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, ensuring that participants not only contribute but also witness the SDGs in action. Through these efforts, students gain a deeper understanding of service, sustainability, and responsible engagement with the communities they serve.
